Day 0: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to a hotel in Moshi, about 35km from the airport.Dinner and overnight
Day 1: At around 9.00 am your driver will take you from your hotel to Marangu Gate,about one hour drive from the hotel.Marangu Gate lies at an altitude of 1840m ASL and from here you will start your hike on Mount Kilimanjaro up to Mandara Hut, 2720m ASL.This is a distance of about seven kilometers and will take you three to four hours.Take a short rest for picnic lunch at Kisambioni (2380m ASL) and continue your hike to Mandara Hut.Enjoy a short rest at Mandara Hut before you start your descent to Marangu Gate.Your driver will be waiting at the Gate to take you back to your hotel in Moshi for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: After breakfast depart to Manyara National Park.The park is located about 210 km from Moshi.Two-third of the park is covered by Lake Manyara,a seasonal home for thousands of Flamingoes.At the Hippo Pool you have an opportunity to get out of your car and watch Hippos bathing in the cool water and a multitude of water birds,zebras and wildebeest.In other places in the park you will see Elephants,Buffaloes,,Baboons,vervrt monkeys and blue monkeys.Later in the afternoon drive out of the park to your hotel in a small town of Karatu,about 20km from the park.Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: In the morning drive to Serengeti National park, a distance of about 150 km from the town of Karatu.You will first drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will visit Olduvai Gorge, a place where Archaeologists have discovered remains of early humans,animals and stone tools.The Gorge was discovered accidentally in the year 1911 by the German entomologist Professor Kart Winkel,while he was conducting a study on butterflies.In a small Museum you will see various things that were discovered in the Gorge.After the Museum tour you will have your picnic lunch.After lunch drive and visit a Maasai traditional village to learn about their culture and ways of life.From the Maasai village proceed to the entrance to Serengeti National Park.You will have about two hours of game viewing in the park as you drive towards you lodge.In the evening you will arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Full day game drive in Serengeti.You guide will try to find the rare games like Leopard ,Cheetah and Lion.Depending on the time of the year,you will have an opportunity to see groups of wildebeest and Zebras grazing together.In the afternoon you will drive to the picnic site for picnic lunch.Continue with game drive and drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.Game drive is allowed until 6.00 pm.At 6.00 pm you must be back at the lodge.
Day 5: In the morning drive out of Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive in the crater.Regarded as one of the natural wonders of the world, this crater whose longest diameter is about 20 km is a home to black Rhinos,which are but difficult to see.If you are lucky you may see some.Almost all wild animals found in northern Tanzania can be seen in the crater, with the exception of Giraffe,Topi and Impala.The soda lake (Lake Magadi) in the crater is a seasonal home to flamingoes.In the afternoon you will take a picnic lunch and around 4.00 pm you will drive out of the crater to a hotel in the town of Karatu, about one and half hour drive.Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park,about 120 km.The park is famous for its large population of Elephants which are to be seen along Tarangire River in the dry season.Tarangire River, which flows through the park, is the only source of water for animals in the dry season.Other animals which can be seen here are Giraffes,Waterbucks, Buffaloes, Baboons,Zebras,Widebeest and sometimes Lions, Leopards, and Cheetahs.Take a picnic lunch in the park and later in the afternoon drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.The Airport is about 170 km from the park.
